Helical Helios
No.25 of 36 in the "Spectral Recursion" series. Facts: Ottewell's "Peppercorn Model" is as easy as it comes for comprehending the size of our solar-system. Think about a bowling ball, and you have Sol. Then pull a single peppercorn out of your salad, and you have Terra. Yeah, it's a little smaller. Now, take twenty steps away from the bowling ball. That's how far Terra is from Sol. If that seems far, realize that you would have to take a thousand more steps just to get to Pluto. You couldn't even see the bowling ball from there... but you could still eat the peppercorn. Just saying. https://www.instagram.com/p/BD6TeX9Nqm5/
